Anuj Gupta is a tech and media attorney who has served in multiple in house legal roles primarily as counsel, general counsel, and head of business affairs at multiple venture backed startups, including Vox Media, Mashable, and Facebook.

In his career, Anuj has provided strategic business advice and counseling on complex intellectual property matters, employment issues (employer and employee side), corporate best practices, new media business models, negotiation strategies, legal exposure, and risk avoidance. He has provided legal advice to cutting-edge tech start ups, established production companies, and digital media companies. Anuj’s specialties also include policy-related guidance, advocacy, and strategy.

Anuj is a former IAPP Global Privacy Scholar and a DC South Asian Bar Association scholarship recipient.
